Part of our Non-CBD line, CaBougieDo handmade SheaCoCoAvoLav body butter is a perfect blend of natural ingredients of Raw African Unrefined Shea and Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil and Lavender Essential Oil, all with benefits for skin and hair, contains no preservatives, no synthetic ingredients and no hemp oil.

Dab a small amount in your hands, rub and feel the butter melt, apply all over your Body, Face and Hair as you desire. Jar colors may vary depending on supply chain availability.

Size: 1 oz. Jar. Store in a cool place away from direct heat. If your butters are melted when you receive them or if they melt at some point due to hot weather, place them in the fridge until fully solid. Typical shelf life of pure beauty butters is 2 years from purchase date.

Shea Butter is a nutrient rich butter, packed with vitamins and antioxidants that help soothe and repair dry or damaged skin and hair. (BSB, 2013)

Cocoa Butter is a solid butter rich in antioxidants, vitamins and fatty acids that deeply penetrate the layers of skin to moisturize, improve elasticity and protect it.  Its properties make it effective in smoothing or diminishing scars, wrinkles, and similar marks on the skin. It can also help in preventing and minimizing the appearance of stretch marks. (BSB, 2013)

Coconut Oil can penetrate the skin easily, due to the small size of its molecules, which are almost as small as essential oil molecules and which allows essential oils to be readily absorbed into the skin when combined with Coconut Oil. Without clogging pores, Coconut Oil offers excellent emollience to dry, itchy skin and hair, remaining suitable for sensitive, inflamed and irritated skin. In providing hydration, it creates a protective barrier on the skin’s surface, locking in moisture to soften, lubricate, and cool skin and hair while preventing future dryness as well as fungus. Used in a topical cream, Coconut Oil soothes and cools irritated areas of skin such as those affected by the discomforts of conditions like Athlete's Foot, Psoriasis, and warts. It effectively soothes sunburns and blisters, removes dead skin, and promotes the growth of newer, healthier skin for a glowing complexion (NDA, 2022).

Avocado Oil used topically, is a vitamin-rich Avocado Carrier Oil works as a regenerating, rehydrating treatment for skin that soothes and enhances texture. It smooths the look of wrinkles, tightens skin, and diminishes the appearance of scars, age spots, and other unwanted blemishes. It can be used on dry, rough, aging, sensitive, or irritated skin such as skin afflicted with psoriasis. When used in massages, it is known to naturally treat insomnia and inflammation, to reduce muscular stiffness, joint pain, and tension, and to boost circulation.

Used in hair, Avocado Carrier Oil straightens and softens strands while nourishing, hydrating, and strengthening them. By stimulating circulation to the hair follicles, it promotes new, healthier growth and prevents hair loss. Avocado Oil protects hair against damage caused by environmental stressors and helps purge clogged hair follicles (NDA, 2022).

Lavender Essential Oil has been found to eliminate harmful bacteria, relieve muscle spasms, relieve flatulence, disinfect and soothe inflamed skin especially when resulting from a venomous, itchy bug bite, promote speedy healing of irritated and scarred skin, and to relieve muscle tension when used in a massage. When used in aromatherapy, this mild sedative is reputed to reduce stress by relaxing the brain waves, which is also said to reduce cortisol levels that contribute to the stress hormone.
